Radiation synthesis and anticancer drug delivery of poly(acrylic acid/acrylamide) magnetite hydrogel

Abstract Hydrogels had gained considerable importance in drug delivery systems. Polyacrylic acid/acrylamide (AAc/AAm) and polyacrylic doped with magnetite (AAc/AAm)Fe 3 O 4 hydrogels have been prepared by ɣ -radiations characterized Fourier transform infrared spectra (IR), X-ray diffractions (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) transmittance (TEM). The morphology the particle size were determined from TEM images. average of Fe was found to be 12 nm. degree cross-linking Poly hydrogel gel fraction at different radiation doses compositions. Swelling studied conditions. magnetism vibrating sample magnetometer results indicated super-paramagnetic character . band gap ( E g ) values suggested semi-conductivity hydrogels. Doxorubicin loading release that can load 78% doxorubicin.
